My name is Emily and I'm the owner of Desert Divas Pole Divas. Years ago I decided to give pole dancing a try and couldn't believe how much fun I had, and how much of a workout I got. As I learned to pole dance I not only felt very sexy, but had much more confidence in general. Although I was just pole dancing for myself, the confidence carried over into other parts of my life. I began telling every woman I knew that she had to give pole dancing a try.

I had a hard time finding classes, especially ones with instructors that I felt comfortable with. I wanted sexy, not sleezy. I finally came across Pole Divas, founded in Scottsdale in 2004. In 2006 I opened my Pole Divas franchise in Phoenix and have loved every minute of it! Over the past two years we have really grown. I started off helping women celebrate birthdays and bachelorette parties, then teaching private lessons, and now offer studio pole dance classes. It's been amazing watching the transformation of the women I teach as they learn to feel great about themselves and have fun learning to pole dance.
